Mirant un pis / Looking an apartment

Post in english, after the slideshow!!!!_____________________________

L’estil, bé, d’aquests pisos “moderns” suposo.

Yesterday, somehow, a brochure about some new apartments in Bangkok fell on my hands. I’m not actually looking for a new place to live, specially considering that those apartments were to sell, not the rent. However, the brochure was so cute that today, with Xalita, we went to have a look to one of those brand new nests of love.

The truth is that I just was wondering how high (or low) the prices in Bangkok were, and visiting a place by myself was an excellent way to figure that out. I’ll be honest with you; if a guy like me goes into an estate agency in Catalonia, he’s out in less than five minutes. They can smell how poor you are as soon as you open their door. Here is different I guess. Maybe is because of my european face, or maybe because I’ve got some grey hair, who knows. The fact is that I had enough time to examine the flat I wanted to visit.

And it was great. Almost 50 square meters, completely new, “next” to a subway station, swimming pool, eleveator, a/c. The stlye, also nice, kinda “modern”. You don’t even need key, it works with one of these cards and some numbers. So cool.

The price… the thing is that, as you can imagine, we didn’t try to get the price down (we are not that crazy) so what we got was the “official price”… maybe it could go a little bit down, or maybe not. Anyway, with taxes, paperwork and, of course, the walls, 3.55 milion baht. 88,750€, 147,000NZD.

So, now you know! If you feel like investing in bricks, here you can!

And as you can see in Spain, investing in “the brick” is guarantee of success!!!
