Happy 30 & thanks!

La celebració dels 30 és una d’aquelles dates on un vol ser a prop dels seus, dels que un més s’estima, amb els que no pot es pot fer un cafè cada dia, però que no es perdrien per res del món un 30è aniversari. Malauradament, lluny de casa, això és impossible i només un petit grapat d’aquestes persones poden ser al voltant d’un mateix mentre la flama d’unes espelmes s’apaguen tot encenent l’esperança que un desig sigui concedit.

Per això vaig decidir que, d’una manera o d’una altra, la Xalita celebraria els seus 30 rodejada per desenes de persones que li volen el millor. Alhora, també la volia veure rodejada de persones que (tot i no conèixer-la personalment) sé que també li volen bé, ja sigui per l’apreci que em tenen a mi o per la compassió que tenen per ella per haver-me d’aguantar dia i nit.

I 96 persones van ser-hi. Pràcticament 200 ulls i 100 somriures eren damunt la Xalita mentre ella bufava les espelmes sobre un brownie de xocolata. Semblava feliç, segur que ho era. En part, gràcies a tu.

Celebrating 30 years is one of those occasions when you want to be with your beloved, with those who you bond with, those who probably won’t share a coffee with you every morning, but they would never miss your 30th birthday. Unfortunately, living far from home, makes the reunion literally impossible and only a few of these people can actually be next to you while you blow the candles hoping that what you are wishing will some day be true.

That is why I decided that, somehow, Chalita would spend her 30th birthday surrounded by those who always wished her well. But also I wanted her to be next to those who (even not knowing her) also want the best for her. Maybe because they like me or because they wish her luck dealing with me day and night.

And, at the end, 94 people were there. Almost 200 eyes and 100 smiles where on Chalita while she was blowing the candles on a chocolate brownie. She seemed to be hapy, sure she was. Partly, thanks to you.

So Thank You Very Much for helping me making Chalita happy, really, thanks a lot. (Click the picture above to see all the people who made this possible. Tomorrow I’ll upload some other pictures of the night itself)
